Creative Class Book Reviews

Seventh Grade Book Reviews
Posted on 05/08/2019
Students in Mrs. Prevost’s 7th grade ELA classes recently finished two major novel unit projects. With each novel, students reviewed the book in creative ways.

The first of the two was Lyddie, a story of a young girl working in the Lowell Mills in the late 1800’s. To review the book, students transformed into news reporters who had to inform their peers on working conditions in modern day factories all over the world.

Second, the class read the novel Holes. Students then had a choice to write a song, act out dialogue between two characters, create an informational poster or a book report in a bag! Awesome job 7th graders, and what an exciting way to solidify the great lessons learned in these stories!
