Amy Walker Bailey and Kate Barkley visited with our fourth graders at our last career day of the year! As the owner of Walker’s Farm, Home and Tack, Mrs. Bailey shared her experiences running and growing a successful business. Kate Barkley, an independent medicare agent, read the book “Who Will I Be” by Abby Huntsman and encouraged the students to choose a career or a hobby that lights them up and brings them joy. 🤩 Our seventh career exploration day brought Master Chimney Sweep Don Witters to our fourth graders! Mr. Witters brought a few tools he uses to clean and maintain chimneys and told a story of how he found a soccer ball stuck in a chimney! Thank you to Ms. LaVine for organizing this event!
