As you may be aware, today there have been a series of threats happening to schools in the Capital Region, as well as across New York State. The threats that have occurred appear to be recycled or similar to those occurring around the state.
The Fort Ann Central School District has not been a target of such a threat; however, we are prepared for the potential of that occurring and are continuing to monitor the situation. The District takes any threat very seriously and will follow all of our emergency protocols to ensure the safety of our students and staff.
Those who believe these threats to be a prank should understand that they have serious repercussions in terms of criminal charges.

The West Fort Ann United Methodist Church Youth Group collected items for the Fort Ann Central School backpack program. They also collected a variety of items for the local food panty at The Cornerstone Church. Thank you Allison, Mary, Hunter, Riley and Adriana for your dedication to serving the Fort Ann community!
On Tuesday, September 24th, Fort Ann will be hosting the College Caravan, an event for juniors and seniors to meet with representatives from approximately twenty-five colleges.
Representatives will be available to visit with students beginning at approximately 9:15 in the cafeteria. Teachers with juniors and/or seniors during that time are welcome to bring their classes. Students in courses that are not attending as a class are still able to attend via an individual sign-up in the Guidance Office.

This year started with a brand new senior tradition (drum roll please....) Senior Sunrise! Seniors gathered this morning for breakfast, shirt signing and memory making under the rising sun to commemorate their first day of senior year! Thank you to some terrific senior parents for this awesome event! Happy senior year Class of 2025!
