During our sixth career exploration day, our fourth graders learned from Nikki Harrison, Planetarian at the Northcountry Planetarium at SUNY Plattsburgh, and Tashina Scognamillo, R.T. R CT, lead technologist at the Rutland Regional Medical Center! Mrs. Harrison shared what it was like to work at a planetarium and brought special glasses for the students to use during the solar eclipse in April. Mrs. Scognamillo taught students about X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and ultrasounds. They even got to examine some X-rays up close! Thank you to Ms. LaVine and Mr. Woodell-Freire for organizing this event! 🌎🩻
